7th Meeting of RECEP-ENELC Executive Board

Further to the invitation of the Cabildo Insular de Tenerife, the 7th Meeting of the Executive Board of the European Network of Local and Regional Authorities for the implementation of the European Landscape Convention (RECEP-ENELC) was held in Santa Cruz de Tenerife - Spain on 18 March 2010.

Further to the activities related to the implementation of the European Landscape Convention carried out by Members / RECEP-ENELC, on the occasion of its 7th Meeting the Executive Board discussed inter alias:

- the final budget 2009 and the estimate budget 2010
- the annual report (September 2009 - March 2010)
- several applications for membership
- the programming guidelines for 2010 – 2012
- the activities of the Technical Co-ordination Board and the starting of the Scientific Committee
- the organisation of the 4th Meeting of the General Assembly (to take place in Strasbourg, Council of Europe, on 17 May 2010)

On the basis of relevant provision of RECEP-ENELC Statutes, the Executive Board leads the Association in the intervals between meetings of the General Assembly and ensures that it operates smoothly in accordance with the programming guidelines laid down by the General Assembly.

The Executive Board is composed of one technical-administrative representative, with special expertise in environmental and landscape matters, for each RECEP-ENELC Member.

The meetings are open only to Members, Observers, Statutory organs.
